About this item
- Waterproof & Anti-corrosion: Our butyl joist tape offers superior waterproofing, creating an effective seal that protects wooden joists, beams, and metal surfaces from moisture, preventing rot, decay, and corrosion.
- Unmatched Durability: Crafted from premium butyl rubber, this deck joist tape is resistant to harsh weather, UV rays, and extreme temperatures ranging from -20°F to 230°F. It ensures long-lasting protection for your deck and construction projects.
- Versatile Application: With excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces—including wood, metal, plastic, and rubber—this decking joist tape is ideal for decks, joists, beams, roof patches, pipes, and more. Its wide application makes it a versatile solution for many projects.
- Easy and Reliable Installation: The self-adhesive backing and easy-to-peel protective film make installation quick and hassle-free. Simply clean the surface, cut the tape to size, and apply it for instant protection.
- Enhanced Deck Longevity & Warm Tips: By shielding structural components from water damage and corrosion, our butyl joist tape helps extend the lifespan of decks and other structures. For optimal adhesion in colder weather, warm the tape with a hair dryer before application.
