About this item
- HOLDS A GATE OPEN OR SHUT: This cane bolt drops a long rod into a ground socket to pin a gate in the open or closed position, steadying it against wind and holding a driveway, farm, or yard gate exactly where you want it.
- ANCHORS ONE LEAF OF A DOUBLE GATE: On double gates, the bolt anchors the inactive leaf to the ground so the active leaf can latch against it, and retaining tabs hold the rod up when raised and keep it from lifting out and getting lost.
- STAINLESS STEEL: Made from stainless steel, the bolt resists rust, corrosion, and staining far better than plated hardware, holding a strong, clean anchor on driveway, farm, and coastal gates through rain, mud, and weather for the long term.
- DRIVEWAY, FARM, AND DOUBLE GATE USE: Ideal for wood and metal driveway gates, farm and field gates, and double gates that need one leaf anchored, a rugged vertical or horizontal drop bolt for gate security and stability outdoors.
- TRUSTED HILLMAN QUALITY: Hillman supplies dependable door, gate, and builders' hardware that homeowners and pros rely on for everyday projects. Keep it on hand for installation, upgrade, and repair jobs around the home, shop, and yard.
