About this item
- STRUCTURAL COLUMN CONNECTION: The Simpson Strong-Tie CB Column Base is designed for 4x4 bases to secure wood posts or columns directly to concrete foundations. Its non-standoff, flush-mount design makes it ideal for decks, porches, and other structural framing applications.
- HEAVY-DUTY STEEL BUILD: Manufactured from durable, heavy-gauge steel, the CB column base provides reliable load-carrying performance and is engineered to help resist uplift and lateral forces commonly encountered in exterior and load-bearing builds.
- CODE-COMPLIANT FASTENER DESIGN: Precisely placed anchor bolt and fastener holes meet building code requirements, helping ensure proper installation, consistent anchorage to concrete, and dependable structural performance across a range of column sizes.
- DESIGNED FOR INTERIOR OR DRY USE: This CB column base, made from non-galvanized steel, is ideal for interior or protected applications where moisture exposure is minimal, providing reliable structural support without the need for corrosion-resistant coating.
- SIMPSON STRONG-TIE RELIABILITY: At Simpson Strong-Tie, our mission is to provide solutions that help people design and build safer, stronger structures. As a pioneer in the building industry, we have an unmatched passion for problem solving through skillful engineering and thoughtful innovation.
