About this item
- GALVANIZED POST BASE CONNECTOR: This post base is made from 12‑gauge zinc‑galvanized steel to resist corrosion in typical outdoor construction environments, helping secure 6x6 wood posts to concrete with long‑lasting strength and reliability.
- WET CONCRETE INSTALLATION: It embeds in wet concrete and installs flush with the surface after a pour, providing a solid connection point that helps resist uplift forces from decks, patio covers, and other top‑supported structures.
- EMBOSSED STRENGTH FEATURES: The seat of the base includes embossed ridges that increase rigidity, and stress‑relief holes beneath the base help resist tearing under heavy load, improving structural performance and stability in demanding framing applications.
- VERSATILE FRAMING USE: This post base is designed for 6x6 nominal posts in a variety of residential and light commercial framing projects, providing reliable load transfer, secure anchoring, and structural support for decks, pergolas, and patio cover systems.
- SIMPSON STRONG-TIE RELIABILITY: At Simpson Strong-Tie, our mission is to provide solutions that help people design and build safer, stronger structures. As a pioneer in the building industry, we have an unmatched passion for problem solving through skillful engineering and thoughtful innovation.
