About this item
- Protect RV’s Power Supply: Reduces the power needed to start RV ACs by 60-75% to avoid tripped breakers or power failures; allows smooth startup for both the ACs and other appliances in your vehicle including a refrigerator, fan, TV, toaster, and more
- Limited Power Compatible: Ideal for non-inverter RV ACs requiring over 40A for startup; fits up to 15,000 BTU units; allows for running two ACs with a total amperage under 30A on a 30A hookup with two soft starters; works with small power generators (e.g. Honda 2200/ WEN 56203i/ CAT INV2000/ Westinghouse iGen2200)
- For Diverse RV Needs: Operates within a broad voltage range of 100-240 V/60 Hz, unlike most 115 V models; offers flexibility with different electrical standards; suitable for ACs in various vehicles and settings including RVs, campers, and travel trailers
- Dual IPX5 Waterproof Protection: Features a waterproof outer shell and epoxy-sealed PCBA circuit board, providing an extra layer of defense; built to withstand various weather conditions, reduce failure risk, and perform reliably in outdoor settings
- Reduced Noise: Reduces compressor noise and vibration; minimizes disruptive sounds to provide a more comfortable, quieter environment in your RV
- Easy Installation: Disconnect compressor and control box harness, then connect each to the soft starter following the wiring diagram on the product or manual
- Installation Reminder: Please kindly check and remove original start components before installation. If there are PTCR and START CAP., please remove both. If there are START RELAY and START CAP., also remove both. Otherwise, these components will cause compressor statup failure. Pleas inform us for comfirmation before installation if you are in doubt.
